About amethyst
Amethyst is the purple variety of quartz, ranging from light lilac to deep purple. At 7 on the Mohs scale, it is durable for everyday wear. Its name comes from the Greek amethystos, “not drunk”. It is February’s birthstone and the gem of the 6th and 17th anniversaries.

על האמטיסט
אמטיסט הוא הזן הסגול של הקוורץ, בגוונים מלילך בהיר ועד סגול עמוק. בדרגת קשיות 7 בסולם מוס, הוא עמיד לענידה יומיומית. שמו מגיע מהמילה היוונית amethystos, ״לא שיכור״. הוא אבן המזל של פברואר ואבן יום הנישואין ה־6 וה־17.
HANDMADE
Made slowly by hand in Tel Aviv. Each piece is one of a kind in the small ways handmade work always is. Making/process time is usually 7–14 business days — I do my best to shorten it.
CARE
Take plated pieces off before water, perfume, or lotion. Soft dry cloth. Full notes: care instructions.
Solid gold won't tarnish; it softens and scratches with life.
Put it on last, after perfume and creams.
Take it off for the pool, the sea, sport and cleaning.
Store each piece on its own, in its pouch.
To clean, use warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, then dry and polish with a soft cloth.
For pieces with stones, avoid ultrasonic cleaners and have the settings checked now and then.
You're welcome to bring it to our studio at Sheinkin 17 for a check and a polish.
